Jeremy was used to losing himself in a project, but something about this one was different. The pressure to get this translation done quickly was new. Normally he lost himself in the work because he loved doing it. This time there was something on the line. Each symbol Jeremy translated seemed to come slower and slower. Terry was at the bench next to Jeremy working on a different part of the tablet. Even with everything that was on the line he worked calmly. Jeremy was going out of his mind. "Terry, how can you be so calm?"
"I know we're the only team in the world that can do this on a time table. No one else has experience translating Atlantean."
"To me that's just more pressure, I can't stop thinking about the time table," said Jeremy.
"The only thing I can tell you is, I know, I mean truly know, that we are the only ones that can do this. No one else even has a starting point. The tablet is useless if you have no place to start the translation."
"Then why did Aaron take it? The tablet is only useful to him if he has our notes," said Jeremy.
"Even if he's got the notes we've got the experience. We've got Angela to make sense of what it says and we've got Ray to get us there," said Terry.
"You're right. I just feel like we're missing something."
"Jeremy we're the good guys, the good guys always win."
