They was a time I thought Elvis Presley was the coolest guy ever. But I learned me about the King personal and he wasn't as cool as I thought. In fact, Elvis, he was a dork.
I know. I stole my dad's time machine once and me and my best buddy Freddie, we met him, the King, I mean. For real.
Criminy, what a dork. But I saved his butt anyway, cause, after all, he was, like, the King.
I chanced getting grounded for an entire summer for stealing the time machine, but it was worth it cause while I saved the King's patootie, I saved my buddy Freddie's butt too.
See, me and Freddie (guys also call him Saggie cause he has this droopy face and he looks like a hound dog), we was bored stiff one day and didn't have nothing to do. It was two weeks into summer vacation and we'd went camping with our parents (gag me) and got kicked off the soccer team and seen all the new movies and tagged the fences over at the new houses being built on Redwood Road and so on, so we was bored Big Time.
"I know," Freddie says.
