One, seven, eight years into the future. In the middle of November.
I was in a room. With a man. A naked man with spring in his eyes. He had fine lines on his face, lines that made stunning out of handsome. I touched the back of his neck just below the hairline.
"Silky," I said. "Soft as Kleenex."
I kissed that silk and drove him foolish with lust.
He knelt above me on the bed, fumbling with something. I listened to his pulse with my finger.
"What you got?" I said.
"Featherlite. Twelve-ribbed," he grinned shyly. "Sure you're ready?"
"Get on with it man," I said, my voice calm as drizzle.
I pulled him under the bedding and bit his neck. The Featherlite slipped from his hands and, later, much later, his wetness rolled down my thigh.
