eBook Description: Beth Barrett's twin sister, Jilly, has been killed by a hit and run driver. Beth knows who did it. Proving it is the problem. The twins are linked through a psychic connection that hasn't diminished with Jilly's death, but no one believes it, not even Ryan Snider, the sexy detective assigned to the case. When a stalker targets Beth, she can't prove that either. Faced with a cunning adversary, she must depend on her own strength, and an unlikely bond with her dead sister, to unmask a killer before she becomes the next victim.

In the distance, sirens howled forlornly.
"Beth, I'm scared."
Jilly's whisper cut through Beth's shock. She leaned close and reached out to brush the bloody mass of hair from Jilly's eyes. Beth placed her cheek against her sister's and tried to absorb the pain. If she could take some of it into herself, she could ease Jilly's agony. Hadn't they always been able to do that?
Keith. The driver was Keith.
Beth pulled away and stared at her sister through a veil of tears. Although Jilly's lips remained sealed, the words screamed through Beth's mind, sending a chill of dread spiraling down her spine. Their psychic connection was stronger than it had ever been. Their minds were locked together.
She was caught up in a horrible nightmare. She clenched her hands, digging her nails into her palms in an attempt to wake up.
But she didn't. And neither did Jilly.
