eBook Description: Catalogue photographer Kristine Sawyer had learned a lot of hard lessons rising through the ranks, the first and foremost being that beautiful men were never trustworthy men. Of course, life has a funny way of not letting "never" mean "never." When the first model who broke her heart comes back to reclaim it, she has a hard time believing the underdeveloped roll of film that is her life might actually turn into the perfect picture. Paul Davies never meant to break Kristine's heart almost a decade ago. But when you get "the call," you go, and you sort out life later. Only "later" is "now"... "Picture Perfect is a charming story. It shows how people tend to get caught up in life, make sacrifices based on what they think they want only to find out that what they wanted, they had all along. I really enjoyed this story. Paul's pursuit of Kristine is exciting and their chemistry sizzles. The end of this story is very sweet and, in this reader's opinion, couldn't have been more picture perfect?"--Kerin, Euro-Reviews

"I won't let you break my heart again," she said quietly. "I have no intention of breaking it," he replied. "I just need you to know. I'm sorry for what happened. I'm really sorry. And after all that I've seen and done, you're the only one I can't get off my mind. You're the only one I think about." His lips formed a tight line as he studied her face. He seemed to be doing some kind of coin toss, and she had no idea what to be ready for, or whether she would like either result. Without warning, he lurched forward, caught her head between both his hands, and pressed his mouth to hers. She didn't pull away, nor did she turn to the side. His mouth slammed against hers with so much force, she winced, but the hunger behind his kiss proved contagious, and before she could analyze anything else, she tilted her head and moved her lips against his. The friction increased as their lips mashed and molded against one another. She followed his lead. Whatever movements he made, she went with them. When he opened his mouth and probed hers with his tongue, she welcomed him with a soft moan and a warm, wet, willing parry of her own. He gripped each side of her head more intently and pulled her closer. His breathing quickened. Hers did the same. Their heated breath swirled around them, creating a dizzying aura of desire. Resistance, concern, skepticism--all of it disappeared. Only he existed. The pressure of his mouth on hers was all that mattered. The warm, wet dance of their tongues against one another became a rhythm that consumed her senses. Suddenly she felt her back hit the wall, before she'd even registered that he'd moved her. His hand on the left side of her head slid down, brushing her ear, pushing the hair off her shoulder. He cupped her left shoulder, squeezed gently, then continued down her left arm and on to the curve of her hip. He paused there and stroked the arc of her pelvic bone through her clothing, guiding her back and forth until her body caught the hint.
