Blue Silver: No More Pretend [Blue Silver AmberPax Series] [MultiFormat]
eBook by Jacki King

  Regular     Club
You Pay:  $4.00     $3.40

eBook Category: Erotica/Romance
eBook Description: In her teenage days, Marci Anderson was moderately pudgy, borderline geeky, and 100% obsessed with the glam band Blue Silver. She even used to practice kissing on bassist Brad Nix's poster. So when he said in an interview that "leggy redheads" were his thing, Marci did her best to become one (not easy for a Pennsylvania Dutch girl raised on a steady diet of starches and sweets--whoopie pie, anyone?). Not that Marci ever really expected to meet or date Brad Nix. Teenage logic, however, told her that if she became what he wanted, then maybe she'd attract a guy like him, and that was close enough. Mr. Close Enough, though, ended up being a struggling musician for whom she skipped class and spent money she didn't really have. That was Marci's first dalliance with a rocker, and she intended for it to be her last--until a couple of high school gal pals dreamed up a way for them not just to see the Blue Silver reunion concert, but to meet the boys at their exclusive after-party, too. Brad Nix, you're playing Marci's song? [Genres: Contemporary / The Arts / Group Sex / Series]

"No More Pretend is an unusual and well-written tale that has ensured that not only will I be reading the rest of the Blue Silver series, but I will also be reading more from Jacki King."--Elizabeth, Fallen Angel Reviews

"Jacki King is a talented author who has done an incredible job of writing the story of one woman finally finding her dream come true."--Angel, Romance Junkies

"Marci's quick wit was highly entertaining and made Blue Silver: No More Pretend fun to read."--Kerin, Two Lips Reviews

"This is a great story of fun, confessions, HOT SEX and more fun."--Amber Taylor, Just Erotic Romance Reviews

"At several points in each Blue Silver tale, the heroines get together and in each book, all of these events jive with one another seamlessly. There have been no inconsistencies in any of the stories, for which I am thankful, as inconsistencies are one of my pet peeves."--Elizabeth, Fallen Angel Reviews

"I highly recommend the entire series!"--Kerin, Two Lips Reviews

"Shall we freshen you up, too?"

He folded the rag in half and ran it against the inside of my thigh, all the way up to my crotch, leaving a trail of cold water that sent goose bumps rippling across my skin. He made several swipes, then moved the rag away and kissed the side of my head again, moving down past my ear, to my neck, then dragging his nose along the line of my jaw. He pulled me around, moving his hand into place against the small of my back, and placing a new series of kisses along my collarbone and up my neck.

I went for it. I placed a hand on each side of his head and pulled him up, slamming my mouth over his the second he was in range, trying to keep him from opening his eyes and getting a good look at my face.

New fireworks exploded throughout my body the second our lips touched. Our mouths opened, and our tongues clashed against one another, slipping and sliding with an eagerness I never could have imagined.

He gobbled me up, kissing my chin, then down the front of my throat and into my cleavage. "Mmm, it's so good to feel you, to smell you, to have ... what's all this then? Who the bloody hell are you?" He had finally looked up and into my face.

I managed a meager smile. "Um, the girl you just felt up?"

He backed away. "Who let you in here?"

"I believe you're the one who grabbed me and dragged me in here."

"Yeah, but I thought..." He stopped talking and just looked me up and down. A heavy, heavy sadness dimmed his gorgeous blue eyes. He reached out and touched my face, then took an auburn spiral between his fingers.

A sudden and insistent knock sounded at the door. "Five minutes to curtain," a male voice boomed from the other side of the door.

He played with the curl for a moment, then let it fall. Without another word, he turned and left.
