Minutes passed while Caleb worked in silence. Paige heard him sketching on the canvas but she couldn't see him.

"This pose isn't working," he replied, the sounds of paper shredding echoed through the room. "Go over to the couch and lie down." Pulling the robe onto her shoulders, she did as Caleb requested. He followed her and patted the back of the couch. "Lay on your side, okay, and rest your head on your arm." Paige sat on the back of the black leather couch, the cushions sinking a bit as they accepted her weight. She stretched her arm out, ready to pose when Caleb's hand on her shoulder stopped her. "Can you take off your robe, Paige? I mean, completely off?"

"How do you want me to pose?" Paige asked, her voice shallow. Butterflies twitched in her stomach at the thought of showing Caleb her fully nude body. It made her nervous, but it also excited her.

"Lay down on your side and I'll show you. Then I'll turn my back so you can disrobe."

Lying down the length of the couch, Paige allowed Caleb to maneuver and contort her body into his desired position. When she understood what he wanted, he turned his back to her and she removed the robe.

The leather felt cool against her skin as she reclined on the back of the couch, her left arm cradling her head, her right arm draped across her breasts and her right leg angled to cover her most intimate part. "I'm ready," she announced and stared past Caleb to a Monet painting that hung on the wall beside his bathroom door.
