The seven beautiful daughters of King Frederick the Bold walked through the garden before breakfast. "Kiss me. Please kiss me," called a voice from the pond. "Oh, look." Aurora, the oldest and most beautiful of the seven princesses, pointed toward the water. "There's a frog sitting on a lily pad over there. I wonder if he's really a handsome prince who has been turned into a frog by an evil witch. Perhaps all he needs is for a beautiful princess to come along and kiss him to break the spell." "I have. Oh, I have been enchanted, indeed." The frog leaped from one lily pond to another in excitement. "Kiss me, please. Kiss me and I will turn into your heart's desire." Aurora reached out for the frog but her youngest sister, Gloriana, was faster.
