"Wickedly clever ... not for the small-minded or humorless. [Arnzen writes] competent, textured poetry with a cheeky twist, presented soundly without being giddy over its own cleverness. Enjoy, sickos!"--Denizine
"These poems are sharper than Ginsu knives as they peer with Slice-O-Maticked perspicacity and dark humor into our world. Insane, intelligent, and insightful, Paratabloids is hilarious and very, very human."--Dark Echo "Arnzen is clearly a gentlemen who actually lives in this world. His eyes are open, if with a somewhat jaundiced stare, and he pays attention to what's going on around him. And if he wants to use the supermarket tabloids as a magnificent metaphor, then so be it. He's got the wit and the talent to make it work. I wouldn't mind some Arnzen greeting cards!"--Ed Bryant

KIDS WATCH IN HORROR AS CLOWN CHOKES TO DEATH ON BALLOON!At first they chuckled when Snappy's rubber made that farting sound the smell of elephant shit while he blew but when he sucked it down his throat jamming up his pipes and hunched over gagging on green the children whispered hushed and pointed wondering if Snappy was still trying to be funny bulging his red-yellow eyes his grease-face grinning while he fishmouthed and pointed at his neck with the BANG pistol like a failed suicide like a clown blowing balloons squeak-talking mute with helium as cartoon thought bubbles float up into the big top and just keep on floating reaching the bored teenagers stuck atop the ferris wheel who pop them with hairpins hating the circus for the very first time.
