Likewise, Katie McLaughlin is seen as the stereotypical 'tough chic' in "Wooing Jenny," which makes her difficult to like at first. It isn't until we see a more vulnerable side of her in "Shipwrecked" that we begin to wish for her happiness. These two unique characters make each story more interesting and enjoyable to read.
