I'll tell you what my customers want. Some want novelty. For them I imported the fire lice, filled up half the store with them. I don't have many left. By the time every kid in Luna is using them for nightlights, I won't be selling them. Novelty customers will want something else. A few customers want danger. See that pressure tank? Got a Yill inside. Go ahead, have a look. Putting a chlorine breather like that in your living room is like eating fugu fish every day. If the seal breaks, your oxygen kills him, but his chlorine gets you. Then there's fragility, the pleasure of owning a pet that's notoriously difficult to keep alive. A paperwing, say. Or the Yill, for that matter. Beauty. There's this couple who can't afford to buy yet. They come in once a week just to stare at my sungazer. Fascination: buying a hive of trigger wasps to watch them build. But I'll tell you what most people want. Most people want a dog.
