NOTE: Mobipocket Reader 5.0 for the PC displays the Mobipocket Personal ID (PID) in a different place than previous versions. On the left-hand side, click on "My Device List", and then press the "Edit Properties" button. Your PID will be the third item down, a 10-digit alphanumeric code.
NOTE: When upgrading Mobipocket Reader 4.4 to 4.5, uninstalling 4.4 will remove the Mobipocket Personal ID (PID) from some handheld devices. Therefore, do not uninstall Mobipocket Reader 4.4 before upgrading to 4.5.
