Andy took a deep breath, muttering, "Damn you, Renee. You're going to get yourself hurt or worse and I don't want that to happen." He pulled me into his arms, his lips crushing mine.
I stood in shock for all of a nanosecond before parting my lips and clinging to him like a limpet. Searing heat radiated from the pit of my stomach and rolled throughout my body. My heart thudded in my ears and I didn't care whether or not I breathed. My hands slid up his shoulders to his nape where I tangled my fingers in his silky hair. The scent of his cologne made me throb in all the right places.
His lips traveled down my cheek to my neck and his hands wandered under my t-shirt.
"God, Renee, stop me."
"No way," I said, panting.
Nimble fingers unsnapped my bra and pushed it out of the way. His warm palm cupped my breast, the nipple already hard and aching.
We careened around the kitchen banging off the cabinets and the table. I jerked his shirt from the waistband of his jeans and slid my hands up his rippled chest. I'd been dreaming about this moment from the day I'd seen him ninety percent naked in the pool and spa room at the gym.
I moaned and wrapped my leg around his--anything to get closer. He sucked at the pulse point on my neck, sending a zing along my nerves and a strong throb to the one place it belonged.
Suddenly, glass shattered in the living room.
